We congratulate President Trump and our friend Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on finally closing a deal with Ukraine to jointly develop their mineral resources. This will hopefully secure for America some return for the $100+ billion American taxpayers have spent defending Ukraine.

But we can’t resist noting that the United States sits on a vast, $12 trillion treasure chest of our own mineral resources at home, locked up only by irrational regulatory and permitting policies.

So let’s get going with mining our own resources!
