The New York Times had a major story earlier this week arguing that the rich are getting richer at the expense of everyone else.
But the chart below – which is designed to show growing wealth inequality, really demonstrates that the rich ARE getting tremendously rich. But take a closer look at the trend lines. They’ve risen substantially for EVERY income group.
Nearly every household – including the bottom half – has made wealth gains of at least 500% since 1990. America is still a wealth creation machine.
